about this project
Our pollinator garden is a vital part of creating a sustainable and environmentally friendly downtown La Grange. Pollinators like bees, butterflies, and other insects are essential to the reproduction of many plants, including those that produce our food. By cultivating a space filled with native plants, we are helping support these species while enhancing the natural beauty of our community. Through our partnership with the Oldham County Conservation District, we are able to thoughtfully maintain and improve the garden throughout the year.
We meet monthly to care for the garden and welcome volunteers of all experience levels. If you’re interested in learning more about pollinators, supporting conservation efforts, or simply spending time outdoors, we invite you to join us. Your time and effort help make a meaningful difference!
