Main Street Derby

Join us in Downtown La Grange on March 25th from 11am – 4pm as we kickoff Derby season in style. All events take place on Main Street between 1st and Walnut Streets.
​

• 11am-12pm: Kid’s Crafts (Create your own pool noodle thoroughbred and paintable ceramic creations from Mudsplats Ceramics)
• 12:15pm: 2nd Annual Main Street Derby (Kids can run their newly trained pool noodle thoroughbred down La Grange’s Historic Main Street)
• 1pm: 1st Annual Derby Kids Parade. Decorate a wagon, ride your favorite stick horse, dress as a jockey, and march in the Derby Parade. Please nothing motorized.
• 2pm: Derby Fashion Show featuring the latest in Derby Hats and Derby clothes from Main Street Merchants including Judith M Millinery Supply House, Blooms, Rainy Day Resale, Simply Blessed Boutique, and PB & J Stuff.

Bring your lounge chairs, dancing shoes and enjoy a fun day for the whole family. Derby dress is encouraged.​

Register for the Children's Derby Parade that begins at 1pm. A parent must accompany their children. Only allowing tricycles, big wheels, wagons, or walking. Dress up for the Derby! Create a unique non-motorized derby parade entry. Register here before Saturday the 25th.
